Churches may offer the following benefits to those employees who work 20 hours/week or more:
Pension Plan (the church employer pays 100%)
· Gives access to Transition-to-College Assistance Grants; Adoption Assistance Grants; Emergency Assistance Grants; Retiree Medical Grants; Income supplements for retirees; Housing supplements for retirees
Core Death and Disability Plan (the church employer pays 100%)
· Gives access to Emergency Assistance Grants
Term Life Plan and/or Long-Term Disability Plan (more affordable alternatives to Death & Disability) (the church employer pays 100%)
· Gives access to Emergency Assistance Grants
Medical Plan (the church employer must contribute at least 50 percent of the cost of Member-only coverage in the lowest-cost option offered — regardless of which option or coverage level the employee elects)
· Gives access to Employee Assistance Plan; Transition-to-College Assistance Grants; Adoption Assistance Grants; Emergency Assistance Grants
