Camp Duffield Camp Duffield is absolutely beautiful in winter. The perfect place for a retreat to re-connect with God. The fireplace has been upgraded, the wood has been dried and is waiting for you. For those more adventurous, cross country skiing, snow shoeing and sledding add to the experience. The cost of $20 per night per person makes Duffield a bargain. Visit www.Campduffield.org
The Island Church Does It Again For the fourth consecutive year the folks at Island Presbyterian Church hosted a delicious Thanksgiving dinner for the community. All those who would be spending the day alone or did not want to cook the meal themselves were invited. Also, most of the food was donated. Their attendance has been increasing each year. This year they served over 90 people. It is a definite tribute to the members and friends of the church who were so willing to share their time and talents to make the dinner a rousing success.
