Presbyterian Disaster Assistance Opportunity

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance (PDA) needs Presbyterian Volunteer Village (PVV) managers.  The position description is:  to oversee the management and function of a PDA volunteer village in the Gulf Coast, including hospitality, administration, logistics, leadership, delegation and group facilitation. These are positions needed year-round.  Currently, there are four PVVs: Orange Grove, MS; Pearlington, MS; Houma, LA; and New Orleans, LA.  There are plans to open two additional PVVs in Texas to help with Hurricane Ike recovery efforts.  A small stipend and expenses are provided.  A minimum 3 months is required.
