A message from Rev. Stephen H. Phelps, member-at-large As some of you know, I have decided to move my search for new work with the church to metro-New York. I am moving into temporary quarters there in April as I begin some exciting conversations with leaders in the presbyteries of NYC, Hudson River, and Palisades about developing new Christian communities. Before I leave, I would like very much to see Presbytery friends at my home on Friday, April 3. I am hosting an open house - no RSVP required. The open house will begin at 3:00 pm. I hope that those with evening commitments can come by for even a short visit. The evening will end when it ends. If you would like to bring a little something to eat or drink, that will be welcome - but not required. I live at 165 Mariner St. in the Allentown district of Buffalo. Mariner is one-way off North St., one block west of Elmwood Ave., not far from First Presbyterian Church in Symphony Circle. Parking on a Friday after 5:00 pm is very limited. A large parking area can be found in the unused grocery store lot on Elmwood Ave, halfway between Summer St. and North St. The walk from there doesn't take two minutes. Peace, Steve
